Classroom Expectations

 

Woodland School Exectations:

  • Be responsible – Keep hands, feet, and other objects to yourself.

  • Be respectful – Be polite in words and actions.

  • Follow directions.

  • Upon entering classroom go directly to assigned seat and prepare to start work.

  • Bring paper, pencils, books, and completed homework assignments every day.

  • No gum, candy, or toys.

 

Mrs. Wagner's Classroom Expectations:

  • Use kind words

  • Respect each other

  • Follow directions

  • Say please and thank you

  • Always do your best

  • Listen when others talk

  • Share with others

  • Clean up and help out

  •  

Mrs. Wagner's Rewards:

•Verbal praise

•Special privileges – Responsibility Rewards

•A positive environment in which to learn

•The development of good study/work habits and citizenship

•Students with one or more letters remaining on their “RESPECT” card at the end of the month are eligible to participate in our monthly celebration.

 

Mrs. Wagner's Behavior Management Plan

  • Each student receives a monthly “RESPECT” card.

  • Student who has been warned for inappropriate behavior will receive a punch on his/her “RESPECT” car

  • Student will fill out a “RESPECT” form.  This form has the student explain:

    1. why his/her “RESPECT” card was punched

    2. the number of punches he/she has received this month

    3. the number of punches he/she has remaining in order to participate in monthly classroom celebration

 

  • Student will sign his/her form.

 

  • Student will be responsible for getting his/her parent/guardian signature on the “RESPECT” form and returning form the next day.

 

  • Signed forms will be collected and filed in a “RESPECT” binder.

 

  • Each student with one or more letters (RESPECT) remaining on his/her punch card will be allowed to participate in monthly reward celebration.  Examples of reward celebrations include:  popcorn party, 15 minutes extra recess, Popsicle party, etc.

 

  • If a student does not have one or more letters remaining on his/her “RESPECT” card, the student will be unable to participate in the monthly celebration. The “RESPECT” binder can be reviewed if there is a question as to why a student is unable to participate in the celebration.
